Explore Rockville: Global Bites 2026 Terms and Conditions
Campaign Dates: June 1-30, 2026
- Eligibility
a. Participants must be 18 years or older and legal residents of the United States.
b. Employees, board members, and immediate family members of REDI or affiliated partner organizations, and Bite Site restaurant owners and their immediate family are not eligible to win prizes but may still participate in the donation portion. - How to Participate
a. Dine at any Rockville restaurant listed on the Global Bites campaign page between June 1 -30, 2026.
b. Upload a clear photo of your itemized receipt via the official submission form on the Explore Rockville website.
c. Only receipts from restaurants listed on the Global Bites campaign page dated between June 1 and 30, 2026, will be eligible.
d. Multiple receipt submissions are allowed, but each receipt must represent a separate transaction. Prize drawing eligibility is based on the number of unique restaurants visited (see Section 4). - Receipt Submission Guidelines
a. Receipts must include: restaurant name, date of purchase, and total amount. Participants must enter accurate restaurant name and receipt total on the submission form; user entered data will be verified against receipt photos.
b. Handwritten receipts or those missing required details will be disqualified.
c. Block out or cover any credit card information or personal identifiers before uploading your receipt. REDI is not responsible for redacting sensitive information from submissions.
d. Submissions must be received by 11:59pm EST on June 30, 2026. - Prize Drawings
Two separate prize categories will be awarded at the end of the campaign:
a. Receipt Submission Gift Card Drawings
Participants who submit receipts will be entered into one (1) VISA gift card drawing based on the number of unique eligible Rockville restaurants visited during the campaign:- Visit 2 unique restaurants: entry into the $50 VISA gift card drawing
- Visit 4 unique restaurants: entry into the $100 VISA gift card drawing
- Visit 6 or more unique restaurants: entry into the $200 VISA gift card drawing
Participants are entered into the drawing that matches their highest tier reached. One (1) winner will be randomly selected for each gift card tier.
b. Dining Passport Prize Drawings
Participants who complete a Global Bites 2026 dining passport by dining at and collecting stickers from at least 4 designated Bite Sites are entered into a drawing for one of three (3) cooking kits and swag bags.
c. Winners will be notified via email by July 20, 2026.
d. If a winner does not respond within 5 business days, an alternate winner may be selected.
e. Prizes are non-transferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
f. Recipients of gift cards are solely responsible for any applicable federal, state, or local taxes.
5. Nonprofit Donations
a. For every valid receipt submitted, 25% of the total value will be donated to participating nonprofit organizations selected for the Global Bites 2026 campaign.
b. A maximum total of $10,000 will be donated through the Global Bites campaign.
c. If the total amount of donations calculated from all receipts exceeds $10,000, the donation portion from each receipt will be reduced so that the total stays within the $10,000 limit.
6. Use of Submitted Materials
a. By submitting a receipt, participants agree to allow REDI and its affiliates to use anonymized data for promotional and reporting purposes.
b. Personal information will not be shared or sold and will only be used to contact winners or for internal campaign evaluation.
7. General Conditions
a. REDI reserves the right to cancel or modify the campaign at any time.
b. Fraudulent submissions or abuse of the campaign will result in disqualification.
c. By entering, participants release and hold harmless REDI and its affiliates from any liability related to participation or receipt of any prize.
